A fender bender is more preferable to a major car crash. The damage is usually not as bad and the people involved seem to be OK. But one of the worst things a driver can do is assume the minor accident can be handled without an insurance company or that going through the usual post accident protocol may be more trouble than it’s actually worth. The well-known phrase, “It’s always better to be safe than sorry” is the motto we recommend.
